Knife is super sharp, lightweight, exactly what I was looking for. Own several Shun knives and will be adding more to my collection and giving them as gifts.
Blade is thin so be careful how you use and care for it.

Beautiful, super sharp knife.
1 of 1 found this helpful My only regret is not buying this knife sooner. It fits in your hand nicely and cutting vegetables is a breeze. Super thin slices of tomato?... no problem. After receiving my first Nakiri 5.5 inch and found out how great a knife it is, I ordered 5 more to give as gifts. I myself would love to receive this knife as a present so I am sure my family and friends will too.
