I first purchased a set about 18 years ago, and these remain in pride of place in our kitchen. Since then I have, over time, purchased another 3 sets as gifts to family members and have never been tempted to change brands.

It just works.
Easy to install, works reliably. Exactly what I expected.
The instructions are easy to follow but should add one tip. There is a moment during the installation that you need some brute strength (when the existing mounting bracket is removed to slip on the motor, and then re-bolted to the wall). That's the time to have a reliable mate helping you - or have a suitable jacking device already in place. There are lots of Youtube videos specifically for Merlin or Chamberlain openers, so you can see the process before you attempt it.
Once the installation is complete programming extra devices is ridiculously simple and quick (about 5 seconds each device).
After that it just works.... what more can you ask for?
