Excessive Length of Pull
4 of 15 found this helpful I bought this plastic shoulder stock for my scoped Crosman American Classic .177 caliber pellet pistol equipped with the steel breech modification. The buttstock mounted easily on the pistol, but upon trying it I found that the length of pull was an incredibly long sixteen inches! I could not get a full field of view in the BugBuster scope as it was too far forward on the gun. By reversing the picatinny rail and moving the scope back as far as possible, I can just barely get a full field of view but it requires forcing my head forward uncomfortably. Also, having the picatinny rail mounted with its "wing" over the top of the loading port makes inserting a pellet more difficult.
If you will be using this stock with a scoped Crosman, I would suggest using a scope with a long enough body to allow a lot of rearward adjustment. Since this shoulder stock is pretty inexpensive, I may try cutting it in two and reducing the length of pull. This will require some means of reinforcing the joint, but I think I can do it.
Because of the excessively long length of pull, I cannot recommend this shoulder stock unless you are handy with making some modifications.

Small & Bright, But....
1 of 6 found this helpful Just what I was looking for, small and bright with large numerals, but it will not toggle to the Fahrenheit reading. It flashes on initially with a Fahrenheit reading, but immediately goes to Celsius. There are no instructions and no control buttons. I have tried turning it on and off by unplugging the power wire, but it will not display in Fahrenheit, so in the trash it goes.

Inexpensive But It Works
This laser bore sighter did not come with any instructions, but is fairly easy to figure out how to use it. It comes with several sizes of splined plastic bushings for different bore sizes. The one I got did not have the pictured screw driver included, but no big deal to me as I have plenty of tools.
For just a few dollars it will get you basic sight and/or scope settings, and with care it should last several years.
