Adequate AVR, but it excels at my limited 2-Channel Logic 7 purpose
1 of 1 found this helpful The AVR-146 is a decent lower budget 30W/ch AVR with many tech features lagging behind current standards (i.e. HDMI pass through only). However, I bought it to leverage the Logic 7 2-Channel enhancement circuitry and the amp is plenty powerful enough for that duty. In that limited capacity, it excels and is doing a fine job.
As a bonus the styling matches the HK 3485, 120W/ch, stereo receiver doing the heavy lifting in the system.

Monk; A Worthwhile Journey
Monk is great music. Like classical music, it does require a bit of listening investment. But the applied time and attention are well worth it. If unfamiliar with Monk, this album is a great intro to his genius.
