If you don't need the cellphone charger function than it is a great radio and all the other functions work perfectly.
I bought two of the radios and the only thing I found wrong was that the adapters for the USB cable that is supposed to charge a cellphone battery was missing in both boxes, The USB cable was in it but the adapters that fit on the end were not there.. That is one of the main reasons I purchased the radios.

Make your own from any material.
0 of 2 found this helpful You have a lathe to make them on, just buy the round stock and machine it to and sizes you want for a coujpls of bucks. That is what real machinist do, they make their own parts and tools.

Looks like they will do the job.
I like them, I put them in my Doctors Bag and will take them with me to Central America when I go down there to help the inhabitants.
