Best Vlogging and Run n' Gun Video Mic
3 of 3 found this helpful If you have a new mirrorless camera the sound from this microphone is great plugged straight into the mic port. You will have to turn down the gain in the volume settings, so your levels aren't clipping. I've also tried it in a canon t4i, but the audio quality wasn't good because of the preamp. I use mine with a panasonic g7 which is a great budget 4k camera. No complaints. Good sound indoors and outdoors. I just leave the dead cat on. Hope this review helps your decision.

Best Budget Beast 4K Camera!
4 of 4 found this helpful Love this camera. Has great image quality and it's compact, so you can take it anywhere with you. Picked this over the g85 because of the price and the new camera has some ibis quirks that it still needs to work out even after their firmware update. Also don't like where they put the audio input and all the output ports all in one. If you plug in a mic you have the whole protective piece hanging and it blocks the screen if you are self filming. The low light is also better on this camera than the more expensive gh4.
