Verlinden...sorry he's out of the business
If you're doing Bronco's M24 and want to detail out the engine bay, this is the set for you (and as far as I can see, the only aftermarket set to do it). It's typical Verlinden (sure gonna miss that guy) in that it's not just going to drop in. DRY FIT OFTEN. You *will* need to fit and finagle them but the result is worth the effort.

Want a 1/48 P-38? Tamiya is your answer
Tamiya raises the bar again with their new-tool P-38 kits. I already had the P-38F/G and that kit was engineered to a whole new, and higher, standard. Fit is jaw-dropping. As with most kits, there are a few details that need tweaking (engine/propeller control levers, for instance), but overall it's the way kits *should* be built in the age of CAD/CAM.
Be aware that the P-38H kits, such as the one I purchased, in mostly white boxes (no graphics on sides or ends) are limited run kits.

So Far, So Good Enough
The battery pack fit well, came with a charge on it, and works as it should. If I have any gripe, it's not about the product, it's about the shipping time. But it works, fit properly, and certainly beat having to buy another cordless vacuum.
