Killer Fly Review from Alaska
1 of 1 found this helpful They don't just work for bass they work for pike too! Just work them in the weeds or an area with twigs and you'll get some pike for sure. The weighted heads really do help in getting the fly out and down to the fish waiting for ambush. For more action add some rattles to the line right above the fly that way it'll trigger more strikes. Don't forget if the fish follows to the boat make a figure 8 and the pike will keep attacking this fly till it gets hooked. With the action of the fly and the sound of the rattles you'll get more action and more fish. Great flies, color options really do help, I found out either use a chartreuse color for murky low visibility conditions and a dark drown or pumpkin color one for clearer waters, either way use both if you like in all conditions from cold water and cloudy skies to warm water and sunny hot skies. Haven't tried working them in the fall in Alaska but will definitely get back to a review update once it's done. A definite must for anybody going after predatory fish, especially pike. Fish on!

Versatile and Awesome
I use these for pike and for salmon in Alaska, for pike it's nice having this at the end of a wire tippet so you don't have to cut and and retie new flies every time you want to change tactics or flies so it's a definite plus and it saves time to enjoy the fishing experience. For salmon, they will tear up flies left and right so I have to change the flies out and I hate retying so I use these, they are strong and do not bend in the hardest fighting pike and coho salmon so I would definitely recommend these for anyone targeting large game fish. For smaller fish you definitely could use the smaller sizes and they certainly are a must for a fisherman's tackle box.

Decent
Decent quality, doesn't seem to hold charge for a long time but can't tell without proper testing. A definite recommendation if you're looking into price over anything else.
