not what i expected

I bought this on sale thinking i was getting a good deal . I used this vacumm on hardwood floors, area rugs, and carpeted surfaces.I have to say the vaccum has great suction , to the point of where you cannot move the vaccum. my situation was that i have hardwood floors and area rugs throughout most of the house. you have to set the depth of carpet before you use the vaccum with a dial on the rotator. when i was vaccuming on the hardwood floors the unit worked ok except for when you tried to go onto the area rug,it will not transition without you phisically picking up the vaccum. also once you get the vaccum onto the area rug it has to much suction and will not go anywhere unless you bend over again and move the depth adjustment dial. i feel the vaccum would be great for doing large areas if you dont mind the weight of the unit. you buy one and be the judge. I would not buy this unit again thats just my personal opinion .

works for what i need it for and is compact and lightweight.

i have had a porter cable air compressor for years i bought this one for my dad. i use it for roofing flooring trim work . also fills tires quick and can power most air tools . it does have some limitations but overall it works for my needs .
