Finally, some peace.
I recently purchased the NH-D15, and I must say, I'm quite impressed. My aging Cooler Master Eclipse was running like a power drill on my Fx-8350, and was driving me crazy. I could only use the desktop for games, videos, and 3D modeling (audio and music drowning out the fan); now, it runs much quieter than my laptop - you cannot even tell that the machine is on (apart from the GPU fans kicking in, in tasking applications).
This is not the most affordable aftermarket cooler on the market, but it gets the job done quite nicely and quietly (I'm not even using the extra quiet connector that came in the box). However, be aware that this is a huge component; it won't be able to fit into the smaller cases. I would definitely recommend it, if you have the space.
Conclusions:
+Efficient cooling with a huge block and 2x140mm fans
+Comes with high quality thermal paste
+Very quiet
- Not really a con, but very large; a bit difficult to attach if you don't have a lot of room, even if it fits. Make sure you have a large enough case.

Great Product
3 of 3 found this helpful I must say, this is a very good product. Was on discount when I ordered it, so got it for a bit cheaper than advertised.
I'm not much of a gamer - so I don't know whether the refresh rate is sufficient, though I guess on paper it should be - but it's very good for working on multiple documents.
Overall, if you have a bit of more money and space, I'd advise to go for the 29'', since this is not wider than my 15'' laptop's monitor in terms of height, but if you are looking for a good monitor to type on, do some graphics work, and the occasional game, then this is a good product for you.

Decent feet replacement option for HP8540W - if the white parts are also already gone.
The HP8540W has infamously bad rubber feet design. If you actually use the computer as a mobile platform, inevitably the feet fall off. Mine started falling out in a couple of years of regular daily transportation (in a laptop backpack), and after about three years, the machine had lost so many feet that, it was (quite irritatingly) sliding across the desk during typing (the platform itself is quite easy to upgrade - including CPU and GPU, and is still sufficiently powerful enough to run MS Office and basic CAD software).
This is a good option to replace the rubber feet; however, please be aware that the feet are not hollow, meaning that you will need to remove the hard white plastic structures underneath the original rubber feet, if they did not already break off, for these replacements to fit. All in all, they're fine, hopefully they last longer than the originals.
