Excellent Purchase
I bought the item as a supplement to my bug-out-bag and supplies. Excellent quality and workmanship. I would recommend this item and I will be ordering another one in the near future.

Once you learn it's issues....
6 of 6 found this helpful Excellent radio. Both this radio and its digital "big brother......the Uniden/Bearcat BCD996P2" are fantastic radios. Signal quality, features, selectivity are all excellent. Buy them while prices are this low. They're state-of-the-art in available radio. Not super easy to program but you don't need a genius-level IQ to figure them out. You'll love them once you get used to them.
