A great car grille

I wanted to replace a cracked and broken plastic grille on my car. The dealership price was a joke -- $227 for the grille and about $180 to install it. I laughed like crazy. They didn't. So I left and pondered more reasonable options and came upon this black diamond mesh grille. I have to tell you -- the quality is superb, way better than I expected. And the price . . . awesome! The grille is thick and sturdy yet flexible enough to make installation a breeze. You just have to take your time and pay attention to details. I give it a big thumbs up.

The floor tiles? It's a sticky situation

Nexxus produces pretty decent vinyl floor tiles in a variety of attractive designs and at reasonable prices, plus they're easy for DIYers to work with. My problem is with the peel-and-stick adhesive backing. The company needs to make it stronger. It's disconcerting to admire a newly tiled floor but notice tiles that have popped here and there, requiring you to stand on them to apply pressure, only to notice later that they've popped again, requiring you to apply a floor adhesive to keep them sealed down permanently. I've used Nexxus tiles in a couple of rooms. They look wonderful, but they do need to be manufactured with a stronger adhesive backing.

Excellent drive for data storage

The SanDisk 32GB flash drive is pretty cool. Got it on ebay at a good price, and the drive itself is just what I need -- great data storage, it's fast, and it's nicely compact. I would certainly recommend it.
