A good second horror helping
Final cut is a quite decent follow up the now classic late 90's hit Urban Legend. True almost none of the original cast members make a return appearance, but the new setting is rather unique and the characters are fun enough. Set at a film school you're never sure just what is reality an what is not which is goo for the horror habituates. The sets and locations look eerie yet beautiful the cast make the most of it I have no real complaints. This new release's image transfer is excellent the sound is too. The new bonus materials give nice overview of what this film still means to a lot of its fans.

Still Groovy in the 21st century
1 of 1 found this helpful You may disagree but EVIL DEAD 2013 is an gruesome awesome movie. I don't go for remakes/reboots but this one is stellar. Acting effects cinematography lighting music and mood are pitch perfect. As for this region free edition, it offers a slightly alternate cut of this excellent film. Sound and image are high quality and the bonus materials are true eye-openers. I strongly recommend this fine little blu ray

Sleepwalkers , a dream of re-release
Unlike many a reader my introduction to Stephen King was the movies, this film to be specific and boy what an introduction it was. I was petrified and exited at the same time glued to the edge my seat. With this little gem Mr King proved that his ability to frighten people isn't limited to the printed page. Mick Garris proved even back the 90's that he was a directorial force to be reckoned with. On to the acting, words aren't enough to describe it Alice Krige, Brian Krause what a sensual creepy pair; Mädchen Amick perfect casting and the ever reliable Ron Perlman, I was in acting heaven. Also a movie where cats are the heroes how can one say no to that? I was overjoyed to learn that Shout Factory was re-releasing this 90's classic as per usual filled to brim with extras. Not only did we get one the famous 'looking' back features, there was an highly entertaining commentary as a cherry on top.
This release is easily 5 out 5 stars
