Light weight, soft and very warm.
We have bought a number of blankets in our life time, including some expensive and supposably the best and softest fur blankets but this one tops them all. I don't even know how we acquired our first one, if it was a gift or possibly bought on clearance in the summer time. A couple a years ago we pulled it unopened out of our linen closet. It had been placed in there and forgotten. It was a fight over who would get to use it each time we would watch TV or a movie. Very soft, silky faux fur, is light weight and thin but is very warm. Doesn't have any itchy feeling to it like a lot of the other faux fur blankets. It also doesn't gather hairs like some other faux fur blankets we have. We have temporarily moved to Alaska and wanted one for each of us. No longer in the stores but was able to find some on e-bay. Bought one and had it shipped up to Alaska so it'd be there when we arrived. The other one accompanied us on the plane, didn't take up much space was very easy to just carry on with us. Nice to have two up here, no more fighting over who get's to use it. We also have purchased and sent some as Christmas gifts to family members in the lower 48. If you buy one you won't be disappointed.

Worth every penny
We've bought one of these for over 15 years, at a home a garden show and have used it at least weekly. It is still running strong. Great after a long day of hiking. We both now have problems with numbing of the feet and it has done wonders. We have moved temporarily to the bush of Alaska and it is very expensive to ship things up here so this was left home in the lower 48. Of all the luxuries we left at home, we missed the the Medi-Rub the most. When we started losing feeling in our feet we looked on e-bay and found another. Made sure it was the Medi-Rub, there are other cheaply made imitations out there. Our feet have never felt better. It also vibrates your whole legs. Best purchase we've made up here. Worth every penny. We plan on gifting it to an elder in the village that has diabetes when we leave. Worth every penny.

Lots of good recipes you'll use again and again.
Lots of sensible recipes that call for ingredients I have stocked in my pantry and/or freezer. Most of these recipes don't call for fancy/expensive ingredients, just good down to home tasting recipes that are easy on the budget. Plus space isn't taken up by a lot of fancy pictures. I've had my own copy for over 20 years and bought this one for a friend who won a slow cooker at a Christmas Party. Lots of good recipes that use again and again.
