Good cooking device; good price.
I've only used it twice so far, but was pleased with the results. Too early for me to really know how it will stand up. The temperature agrees with my temp pin within 1 deg F. I can view daily electrical use from my utility, and there's little difference between days I used it and days I didn't, so even though it draws 850 watts, it's obvious that the heater is not cycled on very often once temperature is reached. I did use the "ping-pong" balls to avoid some evaporation. Never had to add water. My guess is that it works as well as the more expensive ones, though I've never used a different one. The Tri-tip roast came out cooked perfectly.

Good slippers; tight at instep
Kind of tight at instep, but I'm sure will loosen up with time. Well made.

A bit pricey, but a great torch.
1 of 1 found this helpful Double safety guard is a good idea. Creates a focused intense flame. Piezoelectric start is a handy feature.
There are cheaper ones that will do the job, but at $40, "cheap" is close to being a mute factor.
