great boat needs 15 hp motor to move it along at a decent clip
11 of 12 found this helpful had a 2hp honda to start was dismal slow then put a 7.5 hp honda will plane if i extend the tiller and sit in the middle i plan on putting a 15 hp motor on it to be able to get closer to 20 mph only do about 15 with the 7.5 hp but overall its a nice boat larger tubes then the saturn but its heavier also need to run some extra layer on the bottom needs rub stripes down the middle and on the tubes and needs hand holds on the inside i do recommend you buy it over the saturn if you can stand the extra weight also the nose of the boat is turned up so it wont dig into the waves like a saturn will
