Apex Pill Splitter
Much larger than any pill splitter I've ever seen. Almost too large for small pills. The first time I used it on a small circular pill, the pill got ejected from the device and I had to look for it. The reason it got ejected is because the bottom only closes as the lid comes down. It is not foolproof and is actually a dumb design feature the more I think about it.
I much preferred my smaller cutter that had the enclosed bottom which never lost anything that was cut. Also, the cutting surface here is rubbery and tends to grab the pill so that it cannot be easilly re-positioned properly at the apex once it has been placed into the device.
These units are O.K. and do work, but they are not the best and I'm having to get used to it. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 2, but just barely!

Vertigo Collector's Edition DVD
This is the film which was recovered and re-made from deteriorated masters after over a year of work and a million plus dollars. The story of the restoration is included as is a number of other interesting things in the "Bonus Materials" section. This is a great buy and one of the top movies of all time.

ICOM IC-45
Great build quality but no CTCSS tone board unless you happen to find one with the ICOM accessory installed already (apparently rare). Nothing on Internet about modifying or installing aftermarket tone board. No internal battery to hold memories! If disconnected from power, all in memory goes away! Nice, but limited!
