Gripping and real, a must read!
1 of 1 found this helpful An excellent read along the lines of Stand By Me and To Kill a Mockingbird. I couldn't put it down. Krueger paints such a clear picture of the town and the people living in it that I can see it--so real and the characters well developed and I felt like iI could have known these people and the horrible events of the summer and the minister that tried to help the people through all of the things that can happen even while struggling to understand why God allows the events that unfold in his own life.
