Universal Car Mount Adjustable Gooseneck Cup Holder Cradle for Cell Phone iPhone

Car mount gooseneck holder.

The concept is very good, the product is deceiving. I love the stiff construction of the extension gooseneck. I also love the adjustable cup holder itself. I think the price is very good. The negatives about this are that when you place your cell phone in the Cradle on the clips, the only problem is gravity is what holds your phone onto the base. The phone does not lock in position so your phone has to be in somewhat of an upright position not towards a flat position or your phone will just slide out. The design should have had a locking mechanism for the Cradle too attached to the base. So once you place the base in the cup holder and then adjust gooseneck when you place your phone onto the Cradle only gravity supports your phone, as the Cradle does not lock onto the base. Great concept just poorly made. What I found worked really well I solved that problem by hot gluing the Cradle to the gooseneck of the base and now I no longer have a problem, but I should not have to do that.

Need more light

Got them installed but you have to kind of Wiggle them and play with them a little to make sure they get the proper contact. Ordered five, 4 worked, one stays on all the time and the other ones come on when they're supposed to. I wish they would produce a stronger light, because I think the light is a little weak. They are an interesting Gadget.
