Best gun made except for lights

I bought this one to replace one that "grew feet and walked away". I had my other one since 1969. The new one heated fine,but lights would not burn.I called Weller and they sent me another one,the lights quit the first time I used it! I again called Weller and they replaced it.So far so good. On my first one I only replaced the bulbs one time!The new ones are made in Mexico and they have changed the bulb holder design.That is the problem.Their people here were ignored when making the problem KNOWN. I am 71 hopefully it will outlast me!!!!

good motor for the money.

so far doing the job fine. performs as well as the $28 it replaced at a much lower price,

need to lube first

Not impressed on stainless steel! Does better with TAP MAGIC! Does alright on iron,aluminum and wood.
