Just what I needed.
I appreciate that these strips are pure lead for use as electrodes. I, however, found that they are perfect for mounting the flint in the hammer of my muzzleloader rifle. All I had to do is wrap a portion of one of the lead strips around the flint and clamp the assembly in the jaws of the hammer. This gives a firmer clamp on the flint than through the use of leather. This is an excellent product for this purpose. I hope other shooters will take note.

A very good lube
Although it was explained that melting wasn't necessary, I wanted to place a layer of the lube in a screw-top tin that I had purchased for the purpose. I placed the tin in a double boiler and put pieces of the lube sticks in it. The lube melted readily to form a uniform layer of lube in the tin. When I require lubrication of my cast bullets it's now only necessary to place the tin back into the double boiler with the bullets on top of the lube and wait for the lube to melt. When it does, the bullets sink to the bottom of the tin. Then I let the lube cool and solidify. Then I cut the bullets free with a punch which is just the right size. Now the bullets can passed through a sizer for uniformity. I have used a lube like this in the past and it works very well in preventing lead accumulation in the barrel of your firearm.

Good glue!
I researched the internet on glues for wood and this one was lauded, so I bought it.
