New Makita 7-1/4" Magnesium Hypoid Saw Model Corded 5377MG
    Aug 18, 2017
    Worth every penny
Bought this to replace an old Skillsaw that had given out after 15 years of use. I have used saws from Skill, Dewalt, Craftsman, Bosch and Ryobi; this is the lightest nicest handling, smoothest circular saw I have had my hands on. It did require a short break in, it sounded a little rough when brand new, kind of a grinding sound, but that when away after about a day of use. It has great torque and maintains good speed even when sawing through hardwoods and wet wood.

Streamlight 88052 ProTac HL USB 850 Lumen Professional Tactical Flashlight

    Great little flashlight.
Gotta love the LED technology, bright, durable, and low energy use. Tough aluminum housing holds a lithium battery. The re-programmable light settings are nice as I don't need a strobe just a low medium and high flashlight. I rarely use the low or medium settings, the bright is pretty darn bright and illuminates a bedroom size area almost as well as an overhead light. I really like the USB charging feature, I don't know why this isn't offered on more devices. With micro USB being the standard for most phones and many other small consumer electronics it seems natural that it be used for rechargeable flashlights.
