Works Great! π
Works how itβs supposed to. Just make sure the volume is turned all the way up with the remote in order to drown out the static. Highly recommend! π

One of the best handhelds in the history of handhelds.
6 of 6 found this helpful This is my review of the Sony PlayStation Vita 2000 (Slim) model. I have never owned a Vita before but I recently became interested in getting one. I was a bit hesitant at first due to the little support it does get and the fact that I'm about 5 years late to the system. I looked into the games that it had though and decided to take the shot. I'm definitely glad I did. It's like the PSP, but 100x better. Maybe it's just me, but I think it's amazing how the Vita can play near PS3 quality games on the go and all systems before. Not only are there some great PS3 ports, but also many good PS2, PS1, and PSP titles as well. Another bonus is the fact that you can play PS4 titles (if you already own a PS4) on the device as well! That's a ton of games. The hardware is beautiful and the speakers are really superb as well. I was able to watch a full movie on the system without the need of headphones, which was surprising to me. The screen quality is high and very colorful, although I've heard the original model's OLED screen looks even more bright and colorful. In the other hand though, you're getting much better battery life as well (I've gotten around 6-8 hours with the screen at full brightness, depending on the type of game/content being used), so I think it's a pretty good trade off. It's a shame that Sony doesn't support the console more, but don't let that scare you away. There are many great games that definitely make the console worth getting in my opinion. The PS3 port of Mortal Kombat alone makes it worth it for me. It plays exactly like it did on the home console and it's on the go! If you're thinking about getting one, you should. There are plenty of great games for everyone, no matter what genre you like. From PS1 classics to the Vita games themselves. A great handheld offering a massive amount of high quality content I believe is worth $200. Thanks for taking the time to read my review and take care. Hope I helped. π
