The SM7B is a superb microphone.
1 of 1 found this helpful The response from this mic is outstanding. I am using it as a studio broadcast mic and it is performing greatly. There are some controls for bass roll-off and presence boost. I have the bass roll-off turned off and the presence activated. The sound quality is that of a far more expensive mic and I am very pleased with this product. I knew I would be happy using Shure as in the past their products have performed very well for me. All in all the tone, feel and warmth of the mic are as expected. Very good. The only drawback is the output is quite low and if you are not using a good preamp you may run into some sound quality issues. Otherwise I recommend this product with no reservations.
