Easy to replace and affordable.
In spite of being made of plastic the cartridge is very well designed. However, during the installation process of the shower body or replacement of the cartridge itself you must be sure that there is no debris within the pipes. The valve is very sensitive and is prone to leaking even if a small particle gets inside. Otherwise, shower bodies equipped with this valve present a good value alternative to other expensive choices from Grohe.
