O-ring solution.
This correctly sized o-ring turns a complicated problem into a much simpler one. You are able to simply stretch the o-ring over the plunger end. With the original molded seal you have to remove the clevis from the rod which is where it gets complicated.

Good Product
It seems common that many aftermarket lights for this application have issues but this one I would highly recommend. Fit, finish, and function all check out.
